Severe tooth pain, broken teeth, dental abscesses, lost crowns, knocked-out teeth, and dental trauma can often be seen the same day. Our emergency dental clinic in Glendale holds slots for urgent cases daily. Call now and our team will find you the earliest available appointment.
If you are not sure whether your situation qualifies as an emergency, call us. We would rather you call and find out than wait and let things worsen.
Acute dental pain is often a sign of infection, nerve exposure, or a cracked tooth. Pain relief and diagnosis can often happen the same day you call.
A fractured tooth can expose the nerve and worsen rapidly. Same-day care protects the tooth and relieves pain before the damage spreads further.
Exposed teeth are painful and vulnerable. We can often provide a temporary or permanent replacement to protect the tooth the same day you call.
An abscess is a serious infection that can spread rapidly. Swelling, fever, or a visible pus pocket are urgent warning signs. Call us immediately.
A knocked-out tooth can sometimes be saved if reimplanted quickly. Time is critical. Call us while preserving the tooth in milk or saliva.
Injuries from falls, sports, or accidents that affect your teeth, jaw, or soft tissue require prompt evaluation. We assess damage and stabilize the situation.
No dental insurance? Our Smile Science Membership Plan can cover your emergency exam and necessary X-rays, with discounts on emergency treatment. Financing options may also be available through CareCredit, Cherry, and Alphaeon. Our team can walk you through costs before any treatment begins.
Ask About No-Insurance OptionsWalk-ins may be available, but calling first is faster. Same-day emergency slots are limited, and a quick call helps us hold the earliest opening for tooth pain, swelling, broken teeth, lost crowns, or dental infection.
Call (480) 530-3663While you are calling or driving to us, these steps can reduce pain and protect the tooth or tissue from further damage.
Ibuprofen (if you can take NSAIDs) is generally more effective than acetaminophen for dental pain. A cold pack on the cheek can reduce swelling. Avoid heat, as it can worsen inflammation and drive infection deeper.
Hold the tooth by the crown, not the root. Rinse gently without scrubbing. Try to reinsert it in the socket or store it in milk. Call us immediately. Every minute matters for reimplantation success.
Rinse with warm saltwater. If a sharp edge is cutting your tongue or cheek, dental wax or a small piece of sugarless gum can cover it temporarily until you arrive. Save any large fragments you find.
Dental abscesses can spread to the jaw, neck, and beyond. Facial swelling, fever, or difficulty swallowing are signs of a serious infection. If breathing is affected, call 911 first, then call us.
We hold appointment slots specifically for dental emergencies. When you call, we make every effort to get you in the same day, not next week or next month.
We partner with board-certified anesthesiologists who administer IV sedation in our office. Severe anxiety or complex procedures are no longer a barrier to same-day care.
We also offer same-day financing through CareCredit, Cherry, and Alphaeon -- so cost does not have to be the reason you delay care.
Many dental emergencies happen because people avoided care out of fear or cost. We are here to help, not to lecture. You will be treated with respect from the moment you call.
Our membership plan and financing options mean emergency care does not have to create financial panic. We work with you to find a path forward that fits your situation.
"I was in a lot of pain and needed an emergency extraction. I have a serious fear of dentists and I was treated with such kindness and understanding. The TV on the ceiling kept my mind off my stress. They held my hand. The doctor made sure I was in no pain. The receptionist got me in right away even when they were very busy."

Many emergency visits end with a referral for definitive care. At Smile Science, we have the technology and training to complete many emergency treatments in-house, often in a single visit.
Our in-house milling unit lets us design and fabricate restorations the same day. No waiting for an outside lab. No temporary that falls off at the worst moment. Just a permanent solution built while you're here.
A broken tooth that needs a crown no longer requires two separate visits and weeks of waiting. We scan your tooth, design the crown digitally, and mill it in our office. You leave with a finished, permanent ceramic crown the same day you called.
From pain relief and extractions to root canals, temporary restorations, and permanent crowns, we handle the complete emergency spectrum here. One team, one office, no referrals required for the vast majority of cases.
We publish our pricing because you should know what to expect before you call. Your exact cost depends on what you need, but here are the most common emergency scenarios.
Erupted front teeth with straightforward roots. Same-day removal available.
Back teeth, impacted teeth, or complex root anatomy. Same-day bone grafting available if you plan to replace the tooth.

We give you exact pricing before we begin. No surprises.
We accept most PPO insurance plans. Uninsured patients can ask about our Emergency Access membership ($149/yr), which covers your exam and X-rays. Financing through CareCredit, Cherry, and Alphaeon is also available.
For $149 per year, members receive two preventive exams, necessary X-rays, and discounts on all treatment including emergency procedures. No deductibles, no waiting periods, no pre-authorization. Walk in as a member and your emergency exam is covered.
Call us first. Same-day slots are limited. Calling is faster than the online form.
Smile Science is owned entirely by Dr. Dawson and Dr. Turke -- two practicing dentists with no outside investors, no DSO involvement, and no private equity. The doctors making your treatment decisions are the same people whose names are on the practice.
When you call, you reach our team. When you come in, you see a doctor.
Real patients. Real results. Unscripted.
