How Invisalign Works

Four stages from your first scan to your final retainer, all coordinated in our Glendale office.

We use an iTero digital scanner to capture your teeth in precise 3D. This data is used to build your treatment plan and generate a simulation of your final result before any trays are made.

Custom Aligner Fabrication

Invisalign manufactures your full series of custom aligner trays from your 3D scan. Each tray is slightly different, applying gentle, controlled pressure to move specific teeth incrementally toward the target position.
You wear each set for about two weeks before moving to the next. Remove them only for eating, drinking (anything other than water), and brushing. Consistent wear is the single biggest factor in your outcome.

We see you every 6 to 8 weeks to confirm tracking. If your teeth need minor adjustments at the end, one round of refinements is included in your fee. Retainers follow treatment to hold your result.
